Last week I attended a fundraising lunch for the MS Society of Minnesota.  The keynote speaker was a playwright and storyteller named Kevin Kling.  I hate to admit it, being from his home state of Minnesota, but I had never heard of him.

Kevin was born with a congenital birth defect of his left arm and in 2001 almost died following a motorcycle accident that left him unable to use his other arm.  Throughout his life he has studied the mundane in life and weaves stories from those observations that are insightful, funny and honest.

I really enjoyed his storytelling and bought his book.  I’ll let you know what I think of it after I read it but in the meantime, if you want to learn more about him check out his website.
